Things that are good, Ep. 1

There may be nothing in Detroit resembling the Whole Foods and Trader Joe's that other urbanites in the US now take for granted (for that, you have to go to the suburbs).

However, Midtown does now have Zaccaro's, a perfectly formed (and very pricey) gourmet market and cafe, on Woodward near the new condos in Brush Park. I had a crab cake here. I don't know that it was worth $9 plus, but I liked it.
